The Sales Trainer will administer, organize, and conduct training programs for new and existing Mortgage Analysts. Provide continuing education and assess developmental needs to drive training initiatives.
 
Essential Job Functions:
  • Schedule, coordinate and conduct training classes for Mortgage Analysts/Loan Officers to include, but not limited to; Encompass, In The Lead, Word and Outlook
  • Prepare and distribute training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; set up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations
  • Ensure all training equipment is operating effectively
  • Create PowerPoint presentations that clearly and effectively communicate the goals and objectives of the training program
  • Write material for new training programs; review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs; recommend appropriate changes
  • Evaluate the trainees for effectiveness of training and individual employee growth; identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees
  • Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training; test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training; modify programs as needed.
  • Work on sales floor with new Mortgage Analysts to ensure accurate and effective workflow processes have been established based on the training provided
  • Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods
  • Effectively communicate policy changes as directed from corporate office
  • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization
Requirements:
  • Two to three years of mortgage sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of    education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal; good public speaker at ease moderating large groups
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Federal and State guidelines as they relate to the mortgage industry
    Strong knowledge of FHA guidelines
Other Skills/Abilities
  • This position requires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understand many areas of expertise
  • Must be able to react positively to new developments and assist in the roll out of such developments and programs; ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business
  • Training experience preferred
  • Strong planning and organizational skills

Reliance First Capital, a dynamic Mortgage Banker, is seeking a professional Sales Recruiter to join our team and support our rapid growth. This position will partner with the Sales Leaders of each of our branch offices to support them in meeting their staffing goals. The Sales Recruiter will be responsible for talent acquisitions for each of our branch offices, writing effective job postings, sourcing qualified candidates, screening ideal candidates, attending career fairs. The Sales Recruiter will also be the liaison for the Corporate Human Resources Department.
 
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools. Build and maintain a network of candidates through networking sites and job boards to include, Monster, Dice, CareerBuilder etc.
  • Aggressively seek qualified candidates, cold calling and recruiting through various mediums
  • Work closely with managers to understand their staffing goals and objectives.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with managers. Follow-up with candidates upon completion of interviews. Complete pre-employment screening processes including reference checks
  • Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates.
  • Extend verbal offers and gain commitment from candidates. Organize start dates and training classes
  • Attend job fairs and coordinate open houses. Seek out new career events to maximize recruiting efforts.
  • Create and maintain various recruitment materials, and reports.
  • Responsible for preparing the new hire paperwork for Human Resources when applicable
  • Foster retention strategies by conducting “Touch Base Calls” with new hires after three months of employment to get their feedback, input, and ideas. Conduct exit interviews as needed
  • Prepare and present formal presentations
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • At least 1 year experience in aggressive high-volume recruiting, preferably for commissioned Sales positions
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and networks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate with all levels of management
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel extensively
