Joe and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all you did to help us with our refinance. I know at times it was frustrating to all of us going through the process and gathering all those documents which kind of put us in low moods because of the anxiety which developed when things got too hot to handle, but in the end it all turned out well which was mostly due to your patience and the way you handled the difficult situations. On my part, my illness and the cold/flue I still have going on 4 weeks made it difficult for me to always be cheery. I had another chest x-ray today and have another Dr. appointment Friday so hopefully they'll find out what the problem is and give me something that works. My sister is still in the nursing home/rehab center but she doesn't seem to be having much success with getting to walk again with a walker which will enable her to go, home again with help. But, unfortunately the PT doesn't seem to be helping her much and she's very discouraged and depressed. Of course, I haven't been much help with my cold/flue not being able to visit her much lately and her two sons back in MA with their families and responsible jobs that they can't just pick up and leave when they want to. However, we're having a meeting at the rehab center on Thursday with the staff, me and Joe, her son who is her power of attorney from MA via conference call, and her home health aide and the owner of the agency. So hopefully something positive will come of it. Well Carol, I think I've rambled on enough. I just wanted to write and thank you for all your help and patience in this grueling refinance and also thank you for your kindness and professionalism and for your positive attitude regarding the price that our home is worth and keeping Joe and I assured that everything would be fine in the end. We hope, as you mentioned, that we make an effort to keep in touch in the future and stay "friends". Thanks again Carol for all your help, positive attitude, and mainly your friendship.
